Position Summary 职位概述
To support the overall strategic management of the hotel by establishing effective working relationships with senior colleagues, in particular the General Manager, Director of Operations, Director of Finance and Director of Human Resources. Provides support and advice to the General Manager in strategic planning and overall business goals relating to Business Development issues of the brand and the hotel.Protects and guards Corporate standards, Brand integrity and Hotel image.
Provides a professional, advisory and executive support to the General Manager in meeting strategic goals.
articipates in the development and implementation of policies for the department and hotel.
Plans and develops marketing strategies and promotion plans.
Oversees and assists in the development and implementation of the hotel’s Sales and Marketing plans.
To set clear objectives for the Business Development team and develop individuals’ skills and performance reviews, coaching and training.
Monitors and evaluates contemporary sales and marketing initiatives and trends.
To be responsible for all marketing activity in the hotel.
Manages departmental changes and ensuring processes and required infrastructure are in place.
Conducts market research.
Establishes pricing strategies and sales targets for the hotel.
Manages special projects and other business related enterprises.
Ensures efficient utilization of departmental resources.
Ensures the development, update and maintenance of promotional materials.
Reports on the effectiveness of Sales and Marketing programs.
Manages human resources within the department including selection & recruitment, training & development, team building,team member performance planning and review.
Ensuresteam memberin the department is aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Initiates corrective measures and actions immediately when the well being and the normal operation of the department or the hotel are being jeopardized.
Ensuresteam membermaintains complete familiarity with safety, current first aid and fire emergency procedure.
Ensures that all equipment is functioning and serviced regularly.
Manages guest relations and client services including guest and client need, product and service knowledge, sales effectiveness, communication skills and guest and client feedback.
Manages departmental expenses and budget.
Prepares monthly outlook/forecast for related expenses and return to management as scheduled.
Monitors accounts activities and makes adjustments when necessary.
Implements cost saving methods for the department in line with corporate policy.
To ensure that all revenue related systems are kept up to date with accurate information and all Hilton International standards are complied with fully.
Ensures team member abides by both the hotel policies and procedures.
Ensures files, correspondence and other relevant business documentation are maintained.
Liaises with Corporate office to ensure execution and smooth flow through of all Business Development initiatives.
Coordinates with all Business Development departments within the company to maximize sales opportunities.
Represents and promotes the hotel to all sectors in the community locally and overseas.
Participates in Hilton initiated sales and marketing events.
Conducts sales promotion trips to target markets.
Maintain good rapport and communication in the market place locally and overseas.
To research, produce, gain agreement to implement and monitor the annual Revenue Proposal/ Plan throughout the year, updating as necessary.
To ensure that all revenue related systems are kept up to date with accurate information and all iHilton International standards are complied with fully.
Responds to changes in the Human Resources function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
Adhere to the hotel’s security and emergency policies and procedures.
To ensure that all team members have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s Team member Rules and Regulations.
Carries out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications 必要的资历要求：
University graduate, excellent command of written and spoken in English and Chinese language.
Minimum 5 years experience in similar capacity with international chain hotels.

Ability to be resourceful, creative and maintain flexibility.
Knowledge in e-commerce, B2B and B2C business philosophy.
Good understanding of mass communication.
