About the role
As Head
Bartender at STARS Bar, you lead the bar team on shift and protect the
standard guests can feel: pace, precision, warmth, and consistency. This
is a hands-on leadership role combining service leadership, operational
discipline, and creative stewardship of the cocktail and non-alcoholic
programme.
You are
accountable for the day-to-day bar rhythm: opening and closing standards,
mise en place, execution quality, stock and cost control, and team
capability. You set the tone at the bar, host with confidence, and coach
in real time so every drink, every handover, and every guest interaction
reflects Four Seasons expectations and the identity of STARS Bar.

Foster
Exceptional Guest Relations:
Demonstrate outstanding guest service skills while mentoring the bar team
to excel in guest interactions.
Engaging and
Attentive Hosting: Proactively
engage with guests at the bar, offering personalised attention, and extend
this approach to the floor when possible.
Bar
Operations – 20%
Comprehensive
Management of Bar Operations:
Oversee all aspects of daily bar activities, ensuring smooth and efficient
operations.
Standard
Operating Procedures for Back-of-House: Develop, refine, and maintain BOH SOPs, including daily setup,
breakdown, mise en place, and cleaning routines.
Effective Bar
Manual Implementation: Maintain a
comprehensive Bar Manual, incorporating a communications diary to enhance
operational flow.
Team – 10%
Leadership in
Team Development: Lead the
onboarding, and ongoing development (training and service enhancement) of
the bar team, ensuring alignment with the venue’s standards and ethos.
Team Dynamics
and Role Allocation: Define and
assign responsibilities strategically, coordinating team dynamics to
optimise performance.
Beverage
& Creative – 30%
Establishing
World-Class Beverage Standards: Set exemplary standards and spearhead initiatives to elevate the
venue's beverage program to a globally recognised level.
Achieving
Creative Milestones: Efficiently
deliver on creative objectives, meeting agreed-upon goals within
designated timeframes.
Brand
Integrity and Creative Stewardship: Work creatively while preserving the venue’s brand personality and
credibility, ensuring all initiatives align with its ethos.
Innovative
Cocktail Development: Craft
world-class cocktails that creatively tell the venue’s story, showcasing
depth and innovation in mixology.
Outreach
– 15%
Exemplary
Representation as an Ambassador: Serve as a distinguished ambassador for the bar and beverage
program, embodying the highest standards of professionalism and expertise.
Lead
Representative in the Industry: Act as the primary representative for the venue in both global and
local bar industry circles, highlighting the venue’s unique offerings and
expertise.
Reporting
– 5%
Comprehensive
Reporting to Management: Provide
regular reports to the Operation Manager / F&B Directors on key areas
such as daily shift communications, human resources, Cost of Goods Sold,
and inventory management, ensuring transparency and operational
efficiency.
What you bring
Education: Six totwelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience isrequired. Certified by international wine certification program.
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of bartending experience, with at least 2 years in aleadership role at a high-end, world-class venue.
Skills and Abilities:
In-depth
knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and current beverage trends.
Experience in
creating and executing a globally recognised cocktail programme.
Strong
leadership, communication, and guest service skills.
Ability to
work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Familiarity
with bar operations, inventory management, and cost control.
Availability
to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Passion for
hospitality and dedication to maintaining the highest level of guest
satisfaction.
