    Working with the DOSM ensures the hotel has the right people in the right places to drive performance effectively. This may include the use of an incentive program to engage the team and motivate the highest level of performance.  Initiates and maintains contacts with key accounts and bookers across all segments through sales calls, sales trips and virtually as conditions allow. This role will have assigned accounts with goals for delivery. Remains up to date with brand and industry practices for maximum benefit of the hotel.Fosters and motivates talent by overseeing training leading to a clear understanding by the team of expectations. Ensures the team has accounts evenly assigned with goals for production and with the DOSM holds the team accountable for performance delivery. Handles performance issues as necessary. Constantly reviews performance on a weekly and monthly basis and ensures accurate recording of sales calls and sales trips including achievements, leads generated and follow up tasks as required. Has in place the appropriate tools for the team to perform at the highest level possible. This includes training materials, templates and reports as needed. Participates in the revenue management meeting by providing a summary of key activities and the progress of group leads to conversion. Seeks the support, at this meeting, of any person who may be able to assist in the closure of business. Maintains effective communication with key departments, such as Food and Beverage Service, Culinary and Rooms Operations to ensure the operation has the information necessary to deliver a Forbes Five Star service experience.

    SCOPE Responsible for the operations of the Reception, Concierge, PABX, Business Center ensuring the highest standards of service in accordance with the operating procedures and Kempinski standards. Approve training plan of all Front Office sub-departments and follow-up to ensure compliance and efficiency of training activities. Re-evaluate work flows to improve and optimize organization. Implement and evaluate procedures and policies. Ensure clear communication within departments. Detailed hotel product knowledge, up-to-date with VIP arrivals & events within the hotel and the destination. Conduct daily walk through to ensure quality standards. Maintain high visibility with guests and employees, handle customers’ complaints and take corrective action. Set short term and long term measurable objectives to continually improve service levels. Responsible for maintaining 90% scoring for KEA inspections.  Ensure the GRI result achieves 96.2% and GSS result achieves 5.35. KEES (Kempinski Employee Engagement Survey) results are 4.7 and above. Greet VIP guests and escort them to their room. Farewell of VIP guests upon departure. Manager on Duty weekdays and weekends. Rooms Division responsibility in their absence.     Job Summary 职位简述 Director of Rooms is in charge of Rooms Division. The Director of Rooms is responsible for ensuring resort provides the highest level of guest services and ensuring that standards are maintained for all positions within the entire Rooms Division. The Director of Rooms will be responsible to guide all sub-departments in achieving hotel strategic directions through continual focus and reference to these strategies and our vision.
