PRIMARY OBJECTIVES:
The position should focus on the Distribution channels and Connectivity solutions, address the daily operation issues in various distribution channels connected with Synxis, and two-way interface, etc. Also, the position should review business with hotels and distribution partners, reporting data to management and monitoring activities in competitors; provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to relevant teams in relation to distribution & connectivity management; build and manage business relationships with business partners or third parties connected to Synxis.
The position will also work closely with brand marketing and digital marketing team to identify promotional opportunities that benefits our brands and properties. This may include bringing distribution partner opportunities to these teams, or vice-versa implementing Wyndham programs with each distribution partner as appropriate.
The position will ensure that these individual distribution partner opportunities are aligned with overall company strategies by working closely with key departments such as revenue management, development and operations. S/he will work with other internal teams to provide documentation, training, and communication to assist brands and properties in further leveraging these distribution channels.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist APAC hotels issues pertaining of Synxis, help properties in implementing appropriate distribution strategies and troubleshooting availability, rates, and inventory disparities across all platforms. Assist new properties in its Distribution & Connectivity setup where required
Build and manage business relationships with business partners and third parties pertaining to channels connected with Synxis. Actively participate and organize in business meetings/calls
Plan and execute the campaigns through distribution ecosystem and help with the implementation. (pre, during, and post)
Help developing, managing, and generating reports and analysis for business/team purposes as well as managing the
distribution and connectivity function, its team members, processes, policies, programs and ongoing development
Provide ongoing training, guidance, and support to relevant teams in relation to distribution & connectivity management. Create and manages training program, training materials, training schedules as required

KEY POSITION CRITERIA:
Hospitality background is a must, international hotel chain or connected OTA experience would be a plus
At least 5 years working experience in related area.
A results-oriented, go-getter who is able to manage effectively in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment
A strategic thinker who can anticipate or understand customer needs and respond with actionable recommendations
Excellent written and spoken communication skills with proven ability to influence through effective communication
Project management skills, including a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional project teams and manage processes to drive to results, actions, and efficiency. Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects at the same time
Sound functional knowledge of the day-to-day management, operations, and technology
Sound knowledge/understanding of balance distribution strategy and ecosystems
Proven effectiveness working with virtual teams across different geographic areas
Ability to communicate effectively through conference calls and emails as required by a virtual team
Strong analytical skills.
Fluent in Mandarin & English – written and spoken.
Well-groomed and neat in appearance.
