Responsible for providing
leadership, direction and guidance in all areas of HR and supporting the
accomplishment of hotel and department goals and objectives by recruiting,
developing, motivating and maintaining a competent work force.
Conduct Exit Interview with management staff to
find out the reasons for resignation and try hard to retain the good and
potential staff.
Well deal with the employees labor relationship or
dispute. Ensure the stable of the whole Hotel.
Fully responsible for handling the cases of labor arbitration.
Prepares and maintains HR Manual for
the Hotel including philosophy, policies and procedures.
Prepare budget for CAPEX for HR Department and
budget for HR operation on yearly basis.
Coordinates manpower requirement
analysis on an annual basis.
Reviews Personnel Requisitions submitted by Dept.
Heads and makes appropriate recommendation to GM.
Places advertisement in local press using the
corporate format or obtains candidates from alternative sources e.g. networking,
Group HR candidate bank etc.
Organizes induction program together
with Dept. Heads using SLIM Orientation Manual as a guide.
Liaises with HR Managers from other hotels within
the group to accept the employees for cross exposure.
Oversees the provision of quality meals for staff,
and eats regularly in staff restaurant.
