    Functions as the leader of the property’s sales department for properties with bookings over 300 peak rooms and significant local catering revenue. Interfaces with regional marketing communications for regional and national promotions pull through. Develops and implements property–wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand’s target customer profile and property associates and provides a return on investment to the owner and Marriott International. COREWORK ACTIVITIES Managing Sales Activities · Manages the development of a strategic account plan for the demand generators in the market. · Manages the property's reactive and proactive sales efforts. · Determines and develops marketing communication activities, in conjunction with Regional Marketing Communications. · Provides customer intelligence in evaluating the market and economic trends that may lead to changes in sales strategy to meet or exceed customer expectations. · Reviews the Strategic Alignment Review (STAR) report, competitive shopping reports and uses other resources to maintain an awareness of the hotel’s market position. · Research competitor’s sales team strategies to identify ways to grow occupancy and RevPAR and increase market share. · Attends sales strategy meetings to provide input on weekly and overall sales strategy. · Suggests innovative marketing ideas and develops deployment strategies to continue to grow market share. · Evaluates and supports participation and account deployment with Area Sales and Group Sales within the Sales Office. · Serves as the sales contact forth General Manager, property leadership team, Group Sales and Area Sales leaders. · Serves as the sales contact for customers; serves as the customer advocate. · Serves as hotel authority on sales processes and sales contracts. · Serves as the property sales liaison with Area Sales, Group Sales, Revenue Management, Event Management, Regional Marketing Communications and other hotel departments as appropriate. · Participates in sales calls with members of the Sales and Marketing team to acquire new business and/or close on business. · Identifies public relations opportunities and coordinates activities to augment the overall marketing communication strategy. · Supports the General Manager by coordinating crisis communications. · Executes and supports Marriott’s Customer Service Standards and hotel’s Brand Standards. · Executes and supports the operational aspects of business booked (e.g., generating proposal, writing contract, customer correspondence). · Participates in and practices daily service basics of the brand. · Implements a seamless turnover from sales to operations and back to sales while consistently delivering high level of service. · Monitors the effective resolution of guest issues that arise as a result of the sales process by creating mechanisms to channel issues to property leadership and/or other appropriates take holders. · Maintains successful performance by increasing revenues, controlling expenses and providing a return on investment for the owner and Marriott International. · Implements the brand’s service strategy and applicable brand initiatives in all aspects of the sales process and focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of the hotel’s’ sales objectives. · Interfaces with regional marketing communications for regional and national promotions pull through. · Performs other duties, as assigned, to meet business needs.     【岗位职责】 1、协助市场推广经理就市场销售部日常运作的沟通,积极的接触本地及海外媒体通过新闻报道,广告和各种宣传活动提高酒店的大众认知度。 2、作为部门行政支持的角色,负责协调外界机构和酒店其他部门。协调酒店宣传材料和广告的制作、生产及发放。 3、行政支持:负责部门日常行政工作;处理来电,并协助处理媒体咨询。 4、新闻发布会:协助制作和更新新闻的发布名单;处理新闻的发布。 5、酒店促销宣传:参与并协助所有关酒店的宣传活动;协调餐饮部以获得详细的促销宣传信息;协助管理酒店促销宣传的资料库并实时更新;品牌及市场活动管理。 6、宣传册及宣传材料:协调所有酒店促销广告的设计和生产;进行酒店的照片采集,以备将来宣传之用;确保所有酒店宣传材料按照公司的标准要求准确放置;负责所有宣传材料的分配,并不断审视现行的分销渠道,提出改进或加强的建议。 7、预算控制:负责察看并跟踪的所有宣传材料和广告的设计及生产费用;每月更新部门的实际开支记录。 8、充分利用所以万豪资源:和姐妹酒店保持紧密地联系,建立集体促销及宣传模式;就酒店的所有促销和宣传活动,与区域相关部门和总部保持密切沟通。 9、准备周期性报告。 10、办公室礼仪和职业道德:按照酒店标准要求妥善着装;遵守酒店规范及本地法律法规履行工作职责;按照酒店标准建立并执行市场推广的日常运作,其中包括电话礼仪,准时出勤,酒店规定,规章制度及LSOP。 11、遵守公司所有政策和流程:认真贯彻酒店安全程序和措施,及时汇报所有的事故;认真执行所有安全相关的项目。在湿滑的楼道中走动时要保持小心;操作任何设备或行动前应确保熟知安全操作规范。 【岗位要求】 1、至少1年大型国际酒店或公关广告公司的相关工作经验。 2、了解本地市场和商业活动情况。 3、具有良好的计算机软件应用的能力,能够处理和制作各种类型的报告文件。 4、良好的人际交往能力。 5、能与酒店其他部门有效的沟通。以服务为导向;人际交往技巧;团队合作;电话礼仪;演说能力。 6、为人诚信可靠,具有创新及主动性;具有抗压能力;工作适应性较快且具有灵活性。 7、具有熟练的书面及口头的英语和普通话表达能力。 8、学历背景,大学本科学历更佳。
