    OVERALL OBJECTIVE The HR Director supports the General Director in all decision relating to strategic, organizational, and operational people matters for a luxury hotel property. The role helps to drive organizational performance on the objectives of Quality (through effective recruitment, development, and engagement of capable and motivated team members), Performance (through robust performance management, reward and recognition), and Compliance (through compliant and efficient HR Operations, policies & procedures). MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES As a Business Partner to the hotel's General Director and trusted advisor to the management team, support the delivery of the ambitious business objectives of the hotel by locally delivering the strategic HR agenda focused on attracting, developing, engaging, and retaining talent, ensuring effective performance management, supporting organizational design and workforce planning, and ensuring efficient and compliant HR operations. Support and coach the leadership team in any organizational and people topics, to help them achieve their guest service and business objectives. Maintain and develop a strong employer brand in the local market and beyond, implement effective and innovative search and selection for senior as well as volume recruitment through a variety of sources, as well as an effective onboarding process. Drive strong colleague engagement through employee communication and creative activities and events, and ensure proactive follow up on engagement survey results and ongoing feedback, handle staff grievance issues proactively. Understand the competitive positioning of the hotel as an employer in the market and create appropriate compensation & benefits structures based on market and internal benchmarking. Plan and implement an annual budget and manning guide, following up closely on personnel costs, and preparing local management reporting as well as corporate reports. Ensures that corporate and local policies & procedures are communicated and implemented. Ensure an efficient and compliant HR administration according to Kempinski standards and local requirements, including supervision of internal and external payroll services. Ensure compliance with local labour and immigration law and handle any legal issues including staff disciplinary actions. Effectively lead the HR team including recruiting, HR administration, and staff accommodation functions. Implement global performance management and talent management and succession planning processes, and follow up on the development and mobility of internal talent, including effective management of promotions, transfers, cross-trainings and task force assignments. Project manage the roll-out of new global initiatives at the hotel and contribute to the design and implementation of new tools, e.g. HR information system. Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of the real estate. Represent the engineering function within the hotel’s executive committee. The Audit Manager will have the responsibility of conducting on-site and virtual property audits, completing audit file reviews, monthly financial reports, addressing special audit requests, and interacting with various constituents within the business to develop and maintain a network of key relationships within the organization.  Additionally, the position will serve as the main point of contact to resolve audit findings and work with property owners & internal teams to institute any necessary compliance measures.  The Audit Manager/Director will work very closely with the Audit Manager based in the U.S. who performs virtual audits for the APAC region, as well as with the APAC Operations & Legal teams. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ·       Work with property owners / property management to resolve audit findings and achieve the desired improvement actions after audits are completed.  These responsibilities may include: -       Communicating and discussing audit findings with franchise/management owners, general managers, and senior leaders within the Brand Operations, Legal, and Finance teams. -       Providing guidance to franchise/management owners and general managers regarding proper procedures for accurate revenue reporting, which impacts the revenue recognized by the company. -       Formalizing the standard process for reporting of audit findings and resolution in APAC -       Negotiating terms of “Memos of Understanding” with franchise/management owners to ensure full understanding and resolution of audit findings.  ·       Conduct property audits (either in-person or virtually) in accordance with brand standards and respective franchise/management agreements and develop audit findings and recommendations.  These responsibilities may include: -       Drafting and sending audit confirmation letters prior to performing the on-site and virtual audits to inform property owners that an audit will be performed, noting the required financial records needed to complete the audit. -       Reviewing and testing hotels’ financial information to verify the accuracy of reported gross room revenue, as well as, ensuring financial operational procedures are in accordance with the franchise/management agreements and company brand standards. -       Documenting audit test procedures, findings, and results for review. -       Formalizing the standard process of auditing APAC hotels in partnership with Wyndham Legal and Operations -       Documenting the actual findings in a systematic manner ·       Monitor financial performance of properties and track status of properties’ “Memos of Understanding” post-audit together with the efforts to support AR collections. -       Work closely with Revenue Management team to understand the basic financial performance for certain brands as benchmark to detect issues -       Partner with the AR team to develop a standard process in which audits will contribute to overall AR collection efforts. ·       Carry out duties/projects as assigned by line manager from time to time. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS ·       Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred. ·       Bachelor’s degree in other business-related concentrations would be considered if the candidate has significant work experience within the hospitality industry. ·       6-8 years of auditing and/or accounting experience is required. Prior audit or accounting experience within the hospitality or franchise industry is not required, but is a plus. ·       CPA or other business certification is a plus. ·       Excellent time management, organization, negotiation skills and customer service skills are required. ·       Interest in learning business processes, auditing principles, internal controls and system controls in a hospitality environment. ·       Familiar with APAC key markets local finance & tax law and regulations. ·       Possesses savviness and accuracy in dealing with numbers & reports. ·       Excellent analytical skills, be able to deep dive into the revenue report and identify the revenue loss. ·       Be able to establish and maintain positive relationship with internal team members & external stakeholders, fluency in both Chinese & English is required. ·       Self-driven and be able to work independently. ·       Great leadership skills and can drive the audit program within the region. ·       Results-driven and action-oriented. ·       Problem-solving focused with a can-do attitude. ·       Open-minded and innovative, willing to try all ways to achieve desired results. ·       Available to travel at 50% of the time or greater within the region.

    JOB OVERVIEW    As liaison between the owners, hotel pre-opening team with all the stakeholders in the regional office to support for a successful opening on brand, on time and on quality.    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES    Partner with Development, Technical Services, E-Distribution, Guest Loyalty and Operations, Marketing, Training, Global Sales, Legal and Finance team to support the hotel owners, pre-opening team for a successful openings.  Understand the commercial tools to guide, coaching the hotel pre-opening team to complete within the requested time frame.  Understand the standards for all brands and guide the hotel owner, hotel team to compliant when in the pre-opening process.  Working with related stakeholders in the regional office and the designated hotel pre-opening team member to complete Data build-up for brand.com in a timely manner. Ensure the relative accounts setup in place in requested time frame.  Tracking and complete the direct-connected GDS/OTA channels build-up process in a timely manner.  Liaison with hotel pre-opening team and Regional Strategic Sourcing team to deliver the pre-opening integrated services in requested time frame.  Tracking the completion status of Property Improvement Plan for all transition hotels in a joint-efforts with the Regional Director of Operations & Support and hotel owners.  Coordinating with all the stakeholders for the new project kick-off meeting conduct in branded style.  Managing and updating all the hotel contacts database for direct franchised properties.  As liaison as the primary Property Opening contact with the Operations, Technical Services, E-distribution, Global Sales, Training and other internal teams.  Work with the members of Training, Marketing and other internal team (Quality Assurance, Global Sales, Wyndham Rewards, Finance) to coordinate additional support where needed.  Play as assistant in communicating, implementing and the compliance of the brand programs, policies and procedures, new initiatives to all direct franchised opening pipelines.  Collecting and vetting the required licenses and certificates when stepping into a hotel final opening phase, work with the legal team to complete the amendment process if necessary.  Draft and distribute document internally for those new opening properties.  Assist on the Contract Admin tasks assigned from the direct manager.  Carry out duties/projects as assigned by line manager from time to time.    QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS    College degree preferably in Hotel Management, qualification in Business Management is preferred  At least 8-year experience in a first class hotel, with a minimum of 5 years gained in management positions  Business level proficiency in Chinese Language as well as English to support the tasks,  Responsiveness and prompt follow up to the calls from the hotel owners and pre-opening team.  Enthusiastic, Confident and self-reliant  Ability to facilitate a small presentation within targeted audience (hotel owners, pre-opening team), comfortable to deliver within small groups.  Tactful and sensitive to employees and guests  Effective communicator with all stakeholders from the regional office to the pre-opening hotel projects  Excellent interpersonal skills to build the trust with all the stakeholders and ability to influence others by such skills.  Strong knowledge of the official tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint.  Knowledge on the key system applications used in this position such as  MyPortal, Salesforce, also familiar with the hotel PMS system such as Opera, Foxhis, Cloud Wisdom etc.  Ability to an extensive working hours to achieve the goal within the time frame.  Limited travel time requested for this position.
