    What will I be doing? The cluster DOF role is responsible for the supervision and day to day control of the Finance Department of covered hotels, including but not limited to the timely delivery of financial statements and reports and controlling all assets of the hotel. People Management • Supervises the Team Member (Team Management) • Team Development (Mentoring; Training/Guiding) • Recruitment Reporting & Financial Analysis • Produces internal financial reports in an accurate and timely manner for the daily work of the Management Team (Month-end Report & Owner Report) • Is responsible for budgeting and forecasting of annual profit, capital, cash, and other short-term plans • Review/Implement Finance policies, procedures, and operating guidelines Control & Commercial Awareness: • Miscellaneous Requests/Activities (Insurance claims; submissions to government agencies; outsourcing contracts/services) • Operational related investigations/reviews • Preparation & adherence to External Audits; Internal Audits & any other Audit by local government agencies Direct reports • Onsite Accountant What are we looking for? To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow: •University Preferred Commerce Degree in Accounting and Management • At least 2 years of working experience as Financial Manager or higher position in the hospitality industry • Previous experience in a managerial operational accounting role • Fluent in written and spoken English • Good relationship with the local bank and government agencies • Thorough knowledge of federal, state and local laws • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications • Ability to lead, to provide guidance and to develop team member • Ability to train, motivate, evaluate, mentor and direct associates and managers to meet desired ends • A resourceful individual who is creative and able to maintain flexibility • Line operations management and labor related experience preferred

    Accounts Director - Remote About the role: Accounts Director is responsiblefor business generation as it relates to prospecting and securing individualcorporate accounts on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the goals andstrategies outlined in the annual Marketing Plan and in concert with WSOeffort. Position is also responsible for soliciting and securing business fromkey travel industry sources. CTISMs are accountable for ensuring quotas andgoals are met and to ensure that direct sales activities are focused ongenerating the highest possible RevPar for the overall hotel’s success.   This position requires a high degree onindependent judgement and discretion on decision making. This position is based in Shanghai.  What you will do: Business Development and Prospecting: Solicit, confirm and service travel agent,wholesale, negotiate and transient accounts including negotiating rates andconfirming contracts that ensure targeted budget achievement. Identify and create target accounts or agencies thatwill generate business on behalf of hotel but not conflict with WSO efforts. Utilize arrival reports, Hotelligence, Operabusiness intelligence, Book of Lists, Hoover’sLists, etc, to solicit and secure business on behalf of hotel. Use company wide programs, sales developments,prospecting projects, WSO customer events and reporting for individual businessdevelopment. Follow up on all business inquiries and leads andqualify business to generate room nights and impact RevPar performance.  Impact corporate sales production to ensure maximumaccount penetration. Job Description The Four Seasons Hotel Suzhou is looking for Guest Relations Manager who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. Interviews, trains and schedules the staff. Conducts Performance Evaluations and disciplines staff when needed. • Coordinates arrivals, departures and billing requirements with Sales and Catering Department. Blocks rooms for arrivals and ensures any discrepancies are resolved with Housekeeping. Reviews daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of Special Attention Guests, Return Guests, and Groups accordingly to the guest preferences and requests. • Assures that all financial and credit procedures are followed. Follows up on credit problems with Front Office Manager and/or Credit Manager. Reviews all paid-outs, rebates, Petty Cash disbursements and Direct Billings. Checks cashiers’ work at end of shift to ensure all transactions are reconciled with proper approvals and endorsements. • Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees when senior managers are not available. Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation. Works closely with Security to ensure guest and staff safety is a priority. • Resolves customer complaints from all areas of the hotel, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible; assists customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc. Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone in a timely manner. • Ensure all glitches are recorded accordingly. Handles all glitches based on facts and investigate all glitches accurately. To be neutral at all times maintaining professionalism. • Checks guest in and out in an efficient and friendly manner, using guest name whenever possible. Assures that guest is assigned type of room requested and the correct rate is charged. Arranges for luggage to be delivered to guest room. Issues correct keys to the guest. Checks out guest at end of stay. Ascertains guest satisfaction, collects keys, posts late charges and presents bill to guest. Settles bill accurately through credit card or cash transaction. • Walked all VIPs room prior to their arrival ensuring all preferences and request are provided accordingly. Worked closely with Room Service and Housekeeping team. • Utilizes a variety of computer systems to check guests in and out, run daily reports and select and block rooms for arriving guests. • Performs Night Audit correctly and ensuring reports are distributed as required. Ensures all rates checks and high balances are monitored and follow up accurately. Prepares discrepancy reports and keep the Front Office Manager informed of all activities during the night shift. • Routine rounding of the hotel environment including Front & Back of the House, Food & Beverage outlets and public spaces to ensure everything is in working condition. Reports any damages or repairs work on a timely manner and follow up the work has been completed. Ensures that employees grooming are up to standard. Keep Department Head well informed of any area of concerns. • Complies with Four Seasons’ Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook. • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors. • Accepts reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of Reservations Department Staff. Makes confirmation for guest with regards to their booking. • Can answer guest calls and direct them appropriately in the absence of a Communications Operator. • Ensure all guest information is entered into PSB “Police Station Bureau” system correctly on a timely manner and registration of guest information is completed accordingly. All guest passport or ID is being scanned and updated. Outside guest/ visitors are registered into the PSB visitor booklet • Participate with local PSB meeting and ensure all matters related to guest registrations are entered correctly. Maintained a proper relation with the PSB officer working closely with them. • Worked on public holidays, shifts and additional shifts when deemed necessary based on hotel occupancy and business requirement. • Must be familiar with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts standard training manual and service culture. Ability to understand the Policy & Procedure and operating manuals. Requirements We are looking for individuals who are strategic, have strong business acumen, good communication, and interpersonal skills. • At least 2~3 years of relevant work experience in the International Luxury Hotel. • Self-driven and a strategic resourcing professional. • Able to work independently and under pressure in a fast pace working environment. • Good team spirit, multi-tasking, cooperative with good communication and interpersonal skills. • Good command of both written and spoken Chinese and English. • Mandarin Speaking and Work authorization in China is a must.     The Sales Executive will be responsible for managing an account portfolio with the aim to generate and maximise hotel revenue and market share. Key to this role is building relationships and developing networks within new and existing accounts in order to increase revenue and conversion. Duties and Responsibilities FINANCIAL RETURNS · Validate the potential of assigned accounts and create account plans as per the IHG hotel standard operating procedures · Grow assigned accounts so to meet fixed goals and maximise profitability · Gather information on current and prospective clients / contacts to generate incremental business · Maintain effective control of sales expenses PEOPLE · Use both account interactions and publicly available tools to monitor competitors' activities as it relates to both the hotel and the portfolio of accounts and share relevant information with key stakeholders in line with hotel procedures · Provide feedback to management on changing market conditions, including competition and market trends · Involve the Sales Manager where appropriate on sales calls and sales meetings · Communicate to his/her superior any issues encountered and other relevant information · Attend and participate in training sessions, daily briefings and other meetings as required · Where applicable, supervise, guide and train Sales Coordinators in carrying out their responsibilities GUEST EXPERIENCE · Network within one’s portfolio of accounts to build relationships with key decision makers and other relevant staff · Conduct client meetings as well as planning and coordinating site introduction tours and inspections · Handle and manage clients’ queries or issues · Be proactive and responsible for the follow up of new sales leads to enhance guest experience · Develop and maintain contact with business generators (MICE Planner; travel agents; etc.) RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS · Ensure accurate and timely updating of an accurate record of all relevant activities in the provided Sales System (i.e. Delphi; Opera; etc.) for future reference and control purposes · Update Account and Contact profiles, attach Account plans, ensure ‘live’ information for action · Develop awareness and reputation of the hotel and the brand in the local community.
