You will be responsible for the efficient running of the division in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Director of Rooms is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of all operational aspects of the Rooms Division and to ensure that the various departments are run according to the standards set for the brand in general and the hotel specifically.
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Hospitality or Tourism management. Minimum 2 years work experience as Director of Rooms, or Front Office Manager in larger operation. Good problem solving, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
•Is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the hotel, including developing and enforcing product and service standards, talent management and supporting sales and marketing strategies, goals and results.
•Develop, recommend, implement and manage the operational department’s annual and long term goals.
•Ensure that all operating departments are maximizing revenue while minimizing costs.
•Interacts in a positive way with all team members and guests to ensure a luxury guest experience.
•Prior experience in a leadership role in an international luxury hotel or resort.
•Highly organized, with a keen eye for detail and a drive to achieve targets.
•Work honestly with strong responsibility, fairly handle matters.
•Confidently able to resolve problems and make decisions.
•Language skills: English.
