Responsible for assisting the AssistantExecutive Housekeeper in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness inthe guestrooms and Public Areas on the Floors through effective administration,training and supervision of staff.

SPECIFIC DUTIES 工作任务:
1. Ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of thesection

a Responsible for thecleanliness, orderliness, sanitary conditions and maintenance of all Hotelguestrooms and Public Areas on the Floors, including service areas, linenpantries, service toilets and backstairs cases.

b Provide orientation andtraining of new employees, conduct continuous training and re-training andon-the-job training to subordinates according to approved system andprocedures:

Train staff on proper handing and use ofequipment and clean supplies.

c Perform regularinspections of guestrooms and Public Areas on the Floor:

Inspect allocated and in-house VIP rooms dailywhen the Assistant Executive Housekeeper is or on vacation.

Inspect long-staying guests and guestrooms, andquota of other rooms daily.

Spot check corridors lift lobbies and serviceareas daily. Note down observations from those areas regarding cleaningprocedures, repair orders and maintenance defects. Do necessary follow up andinitiate appropriate action immediately.

Ensure that rooms and Public Areas on the floorare cleaned in accordance to Hotel standards. Pay attention to guest floor liftlobby ashtray.

Inspect while work is in progress to ensure thatproper methods are being implemented by floor Team Leader and room attendants. 检查所有员工和领班的工作都符合正确的流程

Follow-upon Floor Team Leader’s request for maintenance and repair orders to ensure thatthey have been carried out effectively.

Coordinate with the engineering Departmentregarding pending work orders.

To informthe Assistant Executive Housekeeper for any repair and maintenance order thatneed further action.

Prepareweekly outstanding maintenance and repair lists and reports, and submit same tothe Assistant executive Housekeeper. 准备每个星期未解决的维护,维修工作的列表及报告,并交付于行政客房副经理
k Plan and schedules duty roster of subordinates:

Prepare duty roster of Floor Team Leaders andRoom Attendants.

Prepareannual evaluation/ performance rating of Floor Team Leader’s and submits toAssistant Executive Housekeeping for review.

Ensurethat all guest floors are properly manned. Do the necessary filling up of staffif there are absences to ensure uninterrupted housekeeping services in theguest floors through a wll staffed housekeeping pool.
确保每个楼层都有足够的服务人员,对由于缺席而产生的空缺及时进行安排填补,确保不间断的客房服务
Checkroom status/ forecasts and revise work schedules depending on occupancy, ifnecessary.
在必要的情况下,根据房态,入住率预计及时对人员安排进行调整
Ensurethat absences and tardiness are monitored closely and that correspondingdisciplinary actions are given if privileges are abused.
对于缺席,懒散的员工需密切留意并给于必要的惩罚
Ensurevacation schedules do not fall snort when Hotel is expecting high occupancy.
确保在酒店高入住率的情况下,不会发生大量的人员休假现象
l Ensure Floor TeamLeader’s complete their reports and hand-overs before going off duty:

m Keep logbook on daily happenings and completeall reports at the end of the day before going off duty.

2. Contribute to overall operational efficiency确保高效率操作
a Discipline and appraise subordinates’performance as and when required:

c Convey information ordecisions from management to subordinates.

d Act on all decisions andprograms decided by the Executive Housekeeper. Ensure all floor staff understand and follow rules andregulations, policies and procedures of the department and house of the hotel.

e Monitor projects assignedto subordinates to ensure completion date and standards are met.

f To serve as a back-up reliever when there is a short fall of Floor TeamLeader due to absences or emergency leave.

g Conduct quarterly linenand guest supplies and operating equipment stock taking. Floor Team Leaderduring stock taking and ensure proper procedures are followed.

The hotel business functions seven days a week,24 hours a day. All associates mustrealize this fact and be aware that at all times it may be necessary to moveassociates from their accustomed shift as business demands.
