Scope of Position The Spa Therapist is responsible for, but not limited to performing as trained all spa treatments to guests professionally with personalized service.    Requirements                         Must possess appropriate licenses in massage therapy and health certificate requested by Chinese government. Must be a graduate from an accredited school with a massage or face or manicure/pedicure license or a combination license. At least 2-3 years experience in Spa or Beauty industry Facial, body treatment skills are essential. Waxing, Manicure & Pedicure skills are preferable. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule in order to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks. Must be self-motivated. Must have mathematical skills, technical aptitude and spa operation knowledge Must have knowledge of current spa trends in the industry Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to network with contacts relevant to the Spa. Must have technical awareness and knowledge of a wide variety of treatments particularly for the face and body. Must have knowledge of holistic concepts that relate to the well being of all guests in a spa environment. Must be open to learning about treatments and concepts that derive from other cultures. To set a standard at all times in professionalism, appearance and attitude as expected of all spa colleagues. To be adaptable and accountable for all actions. Must understand the current legislation in regards to State and local laws for therapists. Consistently strive for a higher level of achievement both personally and professionally. Must be comfortable performing treatments for at least 8 hours. Must have good time management skills in regards to treatments. Direct engineering operations and maintenance economically and in accordance with the Design Engineers specifications, the Equipment Manufacturers' recommendations, the Property policies and procedures and the operations schedule and requirements. Obtains information and knowledge to keep abreast of industry practice, technological advancement, new methods, equipment, and materials. Ensure preventive maintenance program of all equipment installations, buildings, grounds, furniture, and fixtures to maximize utilization and minimum breakdown at a minimum cost. Plan, direct and coordinate operation of the Engineering department. Analyze and appraise monthly the effectiveness with which the Engineering department operates to see that established work policies and operational procedures are adhered to and that prompt corrective action is taken whenever needed. Report to the Hotel Manager major breakdowns affecting operations, and dates and durations of scheduled and unscheduled power interruptions; major incidents and emergencies affecting operations detailing extent of damage and injuries within 24 hours of the incident. General requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in Engineering management position, preferably in a unionized hotel Ability to respond swiftly to all emergencies such as fires, power failures, floods and any safety hazard to hotel and assets and develop contingency plans to address each type of emergency. Must have stationary engineering license.
