KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Please notethat this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within this, the key responsibilities forthis position are:Develop the PR strategy for the hotel,obtaining approval from operational and functional leads, and then overseeingthe implementation of the approved strategy.Create the annual business plan andbudget for the hotel within the scope of this role.Act as spokesperson for the hotel.Seek out opportunities forsponsorship, events and partnerships and cross-promotions both locally andinternationally, for the benefit of the hotel.Create and maintain therelationships with the key stakeholders (including airlines, tourismauthorities, owners & business partners) required to ensure the delivery ofthe PR strategy.Develop strategic & tactical PRcampaigns throughout the year.Be aware of activities in the hotel(F&B promotions, VIP arrivals, new appointments or promotions ofassociates) that should trigger media interest – compile annual calendar ofevents and updates these quarterly.Manage site inspections for mediabusiness partners including travel industry, media, groups (with support of GMand other DH where appropriate). Actively participate in client familiarization trips, site inspections,PR trips as required to meet the public relations targets of the hotel.Liaise with property MARCOM tocoordinate the production of all promotional materials for the hotel. Prepare and update the resorts’ media andsales kits and collateral to be ready for media. Provide monthly updates on publicrelations activities, market intelligence including competitor activities anddestination events or changes.Assist colleagues in matterspertaining to public relations to support sales and marketing, F&B,employee relations, and community affairs. Liaise effectively with all operational colleagues and other properties,providing support and information to ensure accurate delivery of our brandpromise.In line with Group guidelines andGroup PR network, assist media inquiries and media visits.In line with Group guidelines andGroup Communication network, prepare contents for communication for the entireResort.In line with Group guidelines andGroup Marketing network, create collaterals in required languages.Assist Sales/Rooms/F&B/Spa andother departments in developing products and collaterals.Ensure Village communityrelationships (temples, outsourced outlets, etc).Plan and curate seasonal artexhibitions at Fayun Place.Plan and organize functions andevents at Fayun Place.Represent or assist General Managerin representing the entire Resort in public speech/presentation in requiredsituations.On daily basis and on requiredsituations, continuously endeavour useful resources for the entire Resort inall required areas.Specific Job Knowledge, Skill and Ability* Chinese Major preferred; * Creative writing skills;* Extensive knowledge of Ad. / Media Planning and printing/ production process;* PC knowledge: Word, Excel, Web and basic knowledge of Desktop Publishing System;* Organized, detail-oriented and with good administrative skill;* Good contacts with local press.
