DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Supervise the shift work and ensure each receptionist is qualified in their position and work efficiently.
2. Ensure that all guests are treated according to our service standard and make sure that repeat guests and VIPs will be greeted by name and that they receive special attention and recognition.
3. Ensure the room allocation on day and next day does meet guest’s preference and the check-in and check-out preparing works are ready in advance and inform Housekeeping.
4. Report major comments and feed backs from guest.
5. Solve any problems related to guest of associate and arrange gift for the complained guest if necessary.
6. Assist Reception Manager and Front Office Manager for training task.
7. Check in VIP rooms accordingly and make sure other relevant service is ready to provide and Reception for check in / check out guest when necessary.
8.Providing receptionist on job training and assisting the receptionist for solving problem that they can solve.
9. Will ensure property rules and regulations are adhered to and will maintain discipline within the property following disciplinary guidelines as described in the Employee Handbook.
10. Will comply with property rules and regulations as outlined in the employee handbook, which may from time to time be amended or replaced.
11. Will comply with any other directive from Senior Management which may from time to time be requested.
12. Makes follow up/action on logbook notations from each shift and solve the trace in the Fidelio system.
13. Responsible for each receptionist’s cash floating to be used in legal and the correct amount to be counted by each shift with the writing records.
14. Responsible for checking receptionists, doorman and bells grooming and other section’s task
15. Responsible for maintaining reception desk equipment such as computer, printer and others.
16. Responsible for ordering stationary and arranging the meal break.
17. Responsible for adjusting duty roster due to absence or under a certain situation.
18. Responsible for filling in and collecting guest’s questionnaire and meet the quantity.
19. Responsible for managing guest mail box key and coordinate with security and engineer to maintain the mail box in a good condition.
