The Director of BD is the head of the BD department. He/she is in charge of training and supervising of the BD team
The Director of BD works closely with the CEO to determine appropriate BD strategies in all market segments towards maximizing revenues.
As such you will carry responsibility for managing the across BD team of Mainland China and growing this team to ensure each regional BD Project is hit. Find and retain sponsors for our dining events. Potential Target brand focus: Banks, Credit cards, Airlines, Automotive, Telecom, Luxury brands, Real-estate developers etc. As part of this regional adjustments based on market situations will need to be identified and executed as local market preferences and habits are different across regions.
The Director of BD should have a proven track record of generating BD themselves and should manage certain key accounts and as well as proactively be involved in helping business by other BD managers where required.
Ultimately you lead and manages the team of the BD team.
Responsibilities
· The Director of BD is the head of the BD department. He/she is in charge of hiring, training and supervising of the BD team and Mainland China
· The Director of BD works closely with the CEO to determine appropriate Business developmentstrategies in all market segments towards maximizing revenues.
· The Director of business development sets and ensures KPI’s per region as well as per team member.
· Find and retain sponsors for our dining events. Potential Target brand focus: Banks, Credit cards, Airlines, Automotive, Telecom, Luxury brands, Real-estate developers etc
· Develops business partners to achieve organizational BD goals and revenues
· Observes the market, identifies trends and monitors the main competitors. Creates targets.
· He/she aims to maximize Business activities in his/her region. He/she leads and manages the team in the Regional Business project.
· Attends and preside over BD team meetings.
· Develops team cohesion, training and performance improvements.
· Assists with the development of Business proposals

Requirements
The successful candidate should possess the following combination of business development knowledge and relevant experience:
More than 10 years’ sales / BD experience at a senior level;
10 years sales role working experience including 5 years above working experience in thea closely related industry to hospitality / media/ bank preferred.
· Tech-savy. Knows how to use, and is familiar with Email, PPT, Excel, CRM systems, etc.
· Bachelor degree or above or equivalent experience level to compensate.
· Technical sales/business skills
· Proven experience in customer relationship management
· Knowledge of Diningcity and th eir products highly recommended
· Relevant product and industry knowledge
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin.
