To assist in the preparation of all required reports for the overall revenue management function of the hotel
To attend regular departmental communications meetings.
To assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly rooms occupancy and average rate forecast through the use of Business Intelligence and Revenue Management applications
To assist in preparing relevant data and reporting for the Weekly Revenue Meeting.
To assist in monitoring business shifts between channels (Channel Management).
To prepare data analysis and reporting to help the hotel team better understand past pricing and distribution strategies.
To liaise with Director of Communication / Communications Manager to track past offers and promotions.
To assist the Director of Revenue Management / Revenue Manager in maximising revenue and yield through business trend analysis and ensuring delivery and maintenance of optimum data mining, revenue management, pricing and distribution tactics on an ongoing basis.
To assist in conducting displacement analysis to maximise total hotel revenues.
To assist in all areas to ensure data cleanliness and data integrity.
To assist in conducting training with Front Office Associates to ensure correct procedures are in place at check in and check out to ensure the availability and validity of data for analysis.
To assist in providing the hotel team with external market intelligence using tools such as Competitive Intelligence, Rate View, Future Pace, Omniture and Internet web sites and other corporate resources.
To assist the Director of Revenue Management / Revenue Manager in making use of all internal and external tools available to the hotel and the usage of standard analytical reporting to ensure the adopted tactics and strategies are measurable (i.e. promotion tracking).
To assist in in depth business analysis of each revenue generating department including Food & Beverage department and Spa. Assist to ensure the guidelines for data collection, data input, data cleaning and data usage are being followed throughout the hotel and assist in conducting regular training to the relevant departments in liaison with the respective Outlet Manager / Director.
To assist the Sales Managers with their data collection for sales accounts required for their Personal Business Plans as well as assisting in the esurience that monthly reporting needs are met.
To assist preparing quantitative information to Marketing Communications.
To assist in analyzing the current revenue generation trends of the hotel in order to identify critical areas for Revenue Enhancement.
To assist in preparing all required reports from the Business Intelligence and Revenue Management toolbox, important for all profit centres of the hotel.
To assist in preparing for the Annual Business Plan.
To assist in monthly and weekly re-forecasting.
To assist in analyzing trends based on key performance indicators.
To support the implementation of The People Philosophy, demonstrating and reinforcing Hyatt’s Values and Culture Characteristics.
To be familiar with the technical set up of the general dataflow, database structure and monthly extract procedure.
To be familiar with the technical set up and usages for all tools including revenue management system (where available) throughout the marketing process.
To maintain professional relationships with relevant representatives from competitor hotels and other organisations.
To respond to changes in the Marketing function as dictated by the industry, company and hotel.
To read the hotel's Associate Handbook and have an understanding of and adhere to the hotel's rules and regulations and in particular, the policies and procedures relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.
To attend training sessions and meetings as and when required.
To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned, esp. for Reservations.
