What You’ll Do
- The position is responsible primary for maximizing
all revenue opportunities for the venue, strong leadership, understanding the
market and the creation of more business opportunities. Drive to make improvement on guest
experience and market penetration, ensuring all internal and external
communication it is on brand and aligned with what is communicate through
marketing and branding effort. Implement profitable promotions that bring great
exposure to the Topgolf Venue as well as generating revenue those facilities
the venue in achieving the target (as set in the Budget Plan).
- Overall responsibility for achievement of all
budgeted venue revenue streams. Areas
include but are not limited to public bay / VIP room revenue, banquet and
catering, all Food and Beverage revenue, retail shop revenue etc. Increase business from existing channels
while creating new business development opportunities.
- The Director of Sales & Marketing
is responsible for building a strong team - through effective hiring, associate
development and by driving team engagement. They are also responsible for
setting up processes and meeting or exceeding sales goals.

How You'll Do It
Finance
- Perform
revenue forecasts and win/loss reports that illustrate your team's overall
performance against quotas.
- Financial
Acumen – Reporting, Analytics, Pricing, Market Intelligence while maximizing
profitability, forecasting and revenue management strategies.
Strategic planning
- Conduct
market analysis and devise strategies for generating new business.
- Relationship
and Collaboration – Establish close working relationship with all internal
stakeholders responsible for driving venue revenues, including General Manager,
Director of Operations, Finance Leader and others as appropriate.
- Development
and Implementation of Strategic Sales & Marketing Strategies – Through
critical thinking, ensure strategies are consistent with the dynamic needs and
goals of the venue both short and long-term.
Forward thinking strategy development and execution to drive profitable
business results. Ultimately, a creative thought leader who can influence and
capture business through enhanced proposals, special events and site
inspections. Manage and align
advertising opportunities and spend.
Venue
Marketing
- Social
Media & Public Relations – Key stakeholder in Topgolf venue reputation
management through these emerging platforms.
Ensure that the social media and Public Relations strategy is in line
with that of brand and is effectively targeting the demographics of the venue
guest. Engage with the support teams
when necessary to leverage their intimate knowledge of the consumer.
- Customer Interactions – Relationship building,
negotiations and site inspections.
Ensure that all sales related activities support our customer
satisfaction and retention goals.
- Create sales campaigns focused on communicating and
nurturing relationships with guests and driving repeat sales.
- Together with the Marketing Team, identify,
evaluate and secure appropriate sponsorships that generate exposure for Venue
and assist in the development of revenues and branding.
Sales
- Revenue
Management - Collaborate with the General Manager to evaluate business
opportunities to include but not limited to configuration and compliance of
optimization tools to provide pricing and inventory guidance to all sellers. In
addition, align with the General Manager and related function head on segment
priorities, available need periods, and opportunities to develop strategies
subsequently that drive top line revenues.
- Provide
leadership in the day-to-day operations of the sales & marketing team,
while maintaining focus on the company strategic goals.
- Establish
performance goals for the sales & marketing team and monitor performance on
a continual basis.
- Develop, or participate with senior associate in
the development of the Strategic Marketing Plan.
- Customer Interactions – Relationship building, negotiations,
and site inspections. Ensure that all
sales related activities support our customer satisfaction and retention
goals. Business travel as needed to
industry tradeshows and events.
Leadership
- Coordinate the hiring, training and performance
evaluation of Sales & Marketing department associates.
- Conduct
development and performance reviews, identifying key personnel for further
development and structured career pathing.
- Implement
and maintain training systems to ensure that associates have the necessary
framework and skills to perform their job efficiently.
- Implement opportunities for quality Team Building.
- Actively promote a work environment which cares for
guests and associates alike.
Associate Development
- Execute Topgolf's
processes to recruit, hire, develop, retain, and motivate an inclusive and
diverse workforce.
- Cultivate
an inclusive workplace, rooted in fairness and respect, where all associates
feel valued for who they are and are encouraged to actively participate in their
venues culture and success.
- Support associates
in understanding their role as brand ambassadors so they can deliver authentic
and caring service to guests.
- Delegate
skillfully and partner with the venue’s leadership team to build accountability
and achieve shared success.
- Coach,
mentor, and develop future leaders for Topgolf.

What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor's degree in Sales and Marketing or Business
Administration related major;
Related Work Experience:
1. Minimum 8
years experiences in the hotel with sales & marketing management background;
2. With
pre-opening experience is a must;
3. Familiar with Wuhan market;
Supervisory Experience:
1. Minimum 3
years experience in the similar position;
2. Good in leadership, excellent skill in planning,
communication and persuasion;
Language Skill: Good oral and written communication skills in English
and Chinese;
Computer Skill: Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
