GENERAL MISSION 职责概述
Oversees and directs all respects of overall housekeeping operations, which shall include guestrooms, public areas, linen room, laundry, flower shop and specified heart of the house areas. Cooperates, coordinates and communicates with other department heads as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MEANS 责任和方法
Director of Service is responsible and accountable for maintaining the highest standard of room, laundry and public area cleanliness and appearance, guest service as well as engendering team spirit and motivation in all staff. Director of Service must be fair and just in any staff disciplinary action as required.

1.Supervises the above mentioned positions to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
管理和督导各部门的工作以确保客人得到最满意的服务。
2.To monitor housekeeping personnel to ensure guests receive prompt and courteous services.
有效管理客房人事以确保客人得到最快捷、满意的服务。
3.Informs other departments of housekeeping matters which concerns them, notably the Front Office to ensure accurate room status, in addition to communicating with engineering.
向各部门传达涉及客房部的事务,尤其是保证前台房态的准确,以及与工程部保持密切联系。
4.Establishes and maintains effective associate relations.
建立和保持良好的员工关系。
5.Conducts appraising functions such as hiring, performance, counselling, suspending and dismissing staff if necessary, to ensure appropriate staffing and productivity. Consult with section heads, Personnel Manager or delegate as appropriate in performing these duties.
指导员工评估机制;比如雇佣、奖励、忠告、暂缓及必要时解除职务,以确保适当的人员分配和高效率的工作。与部门主管、人事经理或与委派的适当人员协商以执行以上责任。
6.Identify training needs, develops formal training plans and implements training sessions.
明确培训需求,完善正常培训计划,履行培训任务。
7.Schedule routine inspections by supervisors, of all housekeeping areas including occupied and non-occupied rooms.
督促部门主管每日例行检查所有客房区域,包括住房和空房。
8.Inspects guestrooms and all housekeeping areas on a regular basis.
定期检查客房和所有客房区域。
9.Maintains appropriate standards of dress, hygiene uniforms, appearance, posture and conduct of department associates.
保持酒店员工制服整洁、仪容仪表规范。
10.Insures housekeeping personnel are familiar with in-house facilities for the purpose of assisting guest.
确保部门人员熟悉使用客房室内设施以便帮助客人。
11.Controls and arranges on an on-going basis, department costs to ensure performance against budget.
在发展的基础上控制和安排部门成本以确保财政预算平衡。
12.Prepare capital budget, which includes purchase of furniture, equipment, renovation and building facilities that would improve service of the hotel.
预备总体财政预算,包括家具采购、建筑和设备修理,以提高酒店服务水平。
13.Monitors and controls inventories for operating equipment, linen and uniforms to ensure par stocks are maintained and costs are controlled.
管理和控制经营设备、布草制服储存数量的盘点,清楚成本的控制。
14.Maintains a steady flow of communication with other department heads.
与其它部门经理保持经常稳定的沟通。
15.Make recommendations to management on equipment, work methods, supplies and decorations.
向上级汇报有关设备、工作方法、供应品及装饰品的管理方法。
16.Understand and explain to the staff policies and guidelines set by the management. Evaluate periodically and recommend changes if needed.
使员工明白管理部门的各项规章制度,如需要定期评估并根据要求作相应修改。
17.Care of indoor and outdoor landscape.
关注室内和室外的风景。
18.Supervises outside contractors to ensure contractual compliance.
主管外部合同以及确保合同的顺利实施。
19.Implement and control Housekeeping procedures including lost and found, key control, security and emergency procedures, health and safety for associates and guests.
严格控制和执行客房工作程序,包括失物招领、钥匙控制、安全和应急程序,并
对员工和客人的安全及健康负责。
