The Senior Manager – Total Rewards, Asia Pacific is a critical member of the Asia Pacific Total Rewards Center of Expertise,
reporting to the Director of Human Resources – Total Rewards, Asia Pacific. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and delivering
competitive, compliant, and sustainable Total Rewards solutions across one Hyatt Asia Pacific hotels and hubs.
Asia Pacific spans hub entities in 8 locations (Hong Kong, Singapore, China, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, India, Thailand) with more
than 400 associates and supports over 260 operating hotels across 20 diverse markets, with more than 52,000 associates today
and a robust pipeline of 200 new hotels under development. The Senior Manager will operate in a highly complex, multicultural
environment, balancing global frameworks with local market realities across mature and emerging markets in the region.
This role provides end-to-end Total Rewards solutions, covering compensation and benefits design, market analytics, policy
development, governance, capability building training, and HRIS enablement. With a primary operational focus on Greater China,
the Senior Manager partners closely with Corporate Total Rewards team, regional COEs, HRBPs, functional leaders, and hotel HR
teams to deliver data-driven, market-competitive solutions that directly support talent attraction, retention, and business growth,
while ensuring financial sustainability and regulatory compliance across Asia Pacific.

Position Responsibilities
Total Rewards Design & Projects
· Lead and be accountable for ASPAC regional market surveys, including annual hotel and hub compensation surveys, benefits surveys, GM benchmarks, and ad-hoc market studies
· Build, review, and maintain pay structures, salary ranges, and job architecture alignment for prioritized markets, ensuring internal equity and external competitiveness.
· Conduct market gap analysis, pay positioning diagnostics, and scenario modeling to support compensation decisions at hotel, hub, and regional levels.
· Support and guide job evaluation using established methodologies, ensuring consistent role leveling across hotels, hubs, and corporate functions.
· Lead benefits plan annual renewal and flex options designs to improve colleagues’ wellbeing.
· Manage external vendors’ selection, performance and cost targets as required
· Use consulting skills to determine and articulate internal stakeholders’ business questions to develop the best approach for data analysis.
· Identify, design and perform statistical analysis, model business scenarios with data that support forecasting, hypothesis testing that may resolve HR issues in collaboration with
Regional HR COEs, HRBPs in the sub-region, and other subject matter experts across HR and other business specialists
· Use a variety of quantitative and qualitative methods (including surveys, focus groups, database mining as appropriate) to gather, analyse and interpret research data and derive useful information for key HR initiatives, working across and synchronizing multiple data sources as needed

Total Rewards Operations for Hubs and Hotels
· Act as a COE advisor to Hub HRBPs in ASPAC, guiding and coaching them on market interpretation and offering up to Director level.
· Manage annual incentive plan (AIP / bonus) administration, tracking, reconciliation and support Director, Total Rewards, ASPAC in Senior leaders’ Total Rewards as assigned
· Support LTIP administration for eligible hub populations, including coordination with Corporate Total Rewards and external partners where required.
· Coach and guide Brand HRBPs in developing GM total remuneration packages, with cost analytics and governance, primarily for Greater China and selected ASPAC markets.
· Support and execute hotel GM annual review cycles, including data analytics, and salary proposals for Brand HRBPs/Area HRDs, AVPs/Brand Managing Directors.
· Partner closely with GC Brand HRBPs to provide end-to-end compensation solutions for GC GM hiring, movement, promotion, and retention cases.
· Provide hands-on resolution for complex compensation cases, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
Total Rewards Governance, Policy & Compliance
· Deploy and execute corporate Total Rewards standards, policies, and frameworks across ASPAC hotels and hubs.
· Review, fine-tune, and draft compensation and benefits policies to ensure statutory compliance, internal consistency, and regional alignment.
· Analyze legislative and regulatory changes and assess impact on existing compensation and benefits programs, proposing practical solutions.
· Lead specific regional governance activities such as China SAFE registration, working with external consultants and the Corporate Stock team.
Capability Building, Training & Stakeholder Engagement
· Design and deliver Total Rewards training programs for HRBPs, Hotel HR leaders, and regional stakeholders, covering compensation fundamentals, market data interpretation, and offer design, etc.
· Clearly articulate Total Rewards concepts, frameworks, and recommendations to diverse audiences, including hotel HRs, regional HRs and regional business leaders
· Act as a trusted partner across Corporate, Regional COEs, Brand HRBPs, Hub HRBPs, and business leaders.
HRIS Enablement & HR Evolution
· Support regional design and implementation of compensation, benefits, and payroll modules under new HRIS (Oracle) deployment.
· Lead or support data cleansing, validation, audit, and user readiness for Total Rewards-related data.
· Work closely with Area HRDs, Hotel HRDs, and Hub HRBPs to ensure effective adoption and execution of new systems and processes.
· Deliver training and guidance on Total Rewards processes and system usage post-implementation.
Other Duties
· Participate in regional and global HR projects as assigned.
· Support continuous improvement of Total Rewards processes, governance, and operational effectiveness.

· 8-10 years as an HR professional with tracked record in compensation and benefits in a multinational environment
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making and program design
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills with people from diverse background
· Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
· Experience with HRIS is a plus
Education
· Bachelor's degree or above, major in human resources, economics, business administration, finance or data analytics is a plus
· This position requires in-depth knowledge of compensation and benefits acquired through formal education or on-the-job experience
· Language requirements: Fluency in spoken and written English is required. Chinese Mandarin is a must.
Computer Skills Needed to Perform this Job
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
· Good Excel skills for analyzing data (i.e. Pivot, Vlookups etc.).
· Knowledge in Power BI or Tableau or equivalent is a plus
