Key Responsibilities:
- Provide functional direction to hotel sales and marketing leadership within assigned region to optimize results through proactive planning and execution of marketing and sales plans and strategies, which ultimately stimulate demand for room nights, drive incremental revenues, and drive market share.
- Produce the Annual Revenue Plan, Marketing Budgets and forecasts; Manages the marketing budget to enable development of hotel specific campaigns, promotions and collateral to drive revenue and meet property objectives.
- Coordinate all methods of maintaining and increasing business volume.
- Review regularly the Public Relations activities to ensure high awareness of the hotel in the local and national media and oversee the operations of the Marketing Communication department to guarantee that daily workflows are managed efficiently and effectively.
- Responsible for property adherence to Sales SOPS, Sales standards and Programs.
- Work as an integral member of the development and asset management team, in seeking new business opportunities and delivering data as required to assist in decision making as well as presenting to prospective owners of new projects.
- Work with Revenue Management as needed on Market Analysis to provide Competitive information for strategies planning.
- Manages the hotel's reactive and proactive sales efforts.
