FINANCIAL RETURNS:
• Participate in the preparation of the annual departmental operating
budget and financial plans. Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus
on increasing productivity.
• Maintain proper inventory levels managing cost per room for supplies and
labour.
PEOPLE:
• Manage day-to-day staffing requirements, plan and assign work, establish
performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring,
coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member
performance.
• Educate and train all team members in compliance with federal, state and
local laws and safety regulations. Ensure staff are properly trained and have
the tools and equipment to carry out job duties.
• May assist with deep cleaning projects and/or assist housekeeping staff
during high volume periods.
GUEST EXPERIENCE:
• Manage the quality of housekeeping and laundry services. Schedule routine
inspections of all guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, rooms,
equipment, linens, public restrooms, lobby, etc. are clean and in good repair
to meet guest satisfaction.
• Carry out the special needs and requests of guests, VIPs, repeat visitors
and club members.
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action is taken to
achieve complete guest satisfaction.
RESPONSIBLE BUSINESS:
• Maintain and order supplies and equipment in a timely and efficient
manner while minimising waste and maintaining “green” initiatives (example:
container recycling, and cleaning agents).
• May be responsible for the security of lost and found items throughout
the hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned. May also serve as manager on duty.
Responsible for managing and supervising all areas of the spa, including its programs, services, hours of operation, facilities and staff. Coordinates the delivery of spa services, including salon, skin care, massage, program coordinating, reservations, reception desk and locker room areas. As a department head, directs and works with the management team and hourly associates to successfully execute all spa operations. Strives to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.

Summary
You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International's Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Learning Manager is responsible to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Learning Department in the Human Resources Division, including all Learning and Development activities in each Department/Division within the Hotel.
Expert in Learning and Development, creative thinking, innovative learning styles, good presentation and interpersonal skills , strong in creating Training modules with essential content based on training needs.
Qualifications
Ideally with a university degree or diploma in HRM/HRD or Hospitality/Tourism management.
Minimum 2 years work experience as Learning/Training Manager.
High level of written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese, with good translation ability.
Good presentation, administrative and interpersonal skills are a must.
