This role is responsible for all accounting and financial requirements for the hotel in an environment of tight control. He / she will provide financial support, advice and expertise to the General Manager and hotel team, with the aim of maximizing value, developing the quality of the Finance function within the hotel. What will I be doing? As the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Financial Accounting & Control: Best practice financial accounting processes in a robust control environment • Overall management of the accounting records and financial reports of the hotel ensuring compliance with company, owner, statutory and fiscal requirements, and timetables. • Where applicable the above must include the accounts for Hilton International’s branch or subsidiary. • Ensure that the balance sheet is a fair reflection of the assets and liabilities of the hotel. The balance sheet must be regularly reviewed, and reconciliations performed of all accounts. • Ensure compliance with the Management agreement with Hilton International, and any Owner / Lease agreement. • Maintain a focused system of internal controls, which will provide an effective and efficient control over the hotel assets, liabilities, revenue and costs, ensuring compliance with company policy. • Maintain control over the hotel’s assets, liabilities, income and expenditure on behalf of both the Operator and Owner and provide management, leadership and accountability for the financial performance of the hotel. • Ensure legal and tax compliance and that adequate insurance cover is maintained managing the pension scheme, where applicable, ensuring that adequate accounting, actuarial and legal controls are in place. • Ensure valid permits and licenses have been obtained for such matters as importation, currency transfers and hotel operations (bars, clubs, casinos etc.). • Take responsibility for the safekeeping and updating of all leases and contracts, which may affect the financial status of the hotel. • Liaise and co-operate with both Internal and External Audit, ensuring that an effective program of in-hotel audit is in place and that corrective action is promptly taken where required. • Give particular emphasis to ensuring that all revenue is captured, making use of a monthly control checklist and conduct interim self-audits as required. • Develop best practice financial accounting and control procedures, with continuous review and development with the aim of maximizing both impact and efficiency. Management Reporting: Focused, innovative and balanced reporting that stimulates management action. • Develop high quality management information and performance measurement that is timely and accurate. Reporting should be thought provoking and action oriented. • Implement reporting that incorporates benchmarking, identification and measurement of key performance indicators, and use of the balanced scorecard. Reporting should not only look to historical performance within the hotel, but also outward and forward. • Ensure corporate reporting is timely and accurate, internally consistent and that, inter alia, Datalink report, Pro-plant system, management reports, trends of operation reports, incremental conversion reports, profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports reconcile to the trial balance. Maintain proof of such reconciliations which are conducted each month. Business Support: Provision of the highest standards of financial and commercial support to the Business. • Support and advice on financial and commercial matters to the General Manager and to the hotel team, including the interpretation of financial data. • Review management information for the hotel and make proposals for the General Manager for value added initiatives. Where appropriate, play the “Devil’s Advocate” to challenge practices and proposals. • Provide financial and commercial skills to support business development initiatives, major pricing decisions and other commercial decision-making. Information Technology & Systems: Optimize the use of I.T. within the finance department to improve efficiency and information. • With Project Managers, support the implementation of financial systems in the hotel. • With the ISM ensure proper use and maintenance of financial systems, including adequate security and back up procedures. • Act as the guardian of the integrity of data flowing into the accounting system, ensuring that the control process is sound in systems that interface directly or indirectly with the accounting system. • Work with colleagues to ensure that errors are corrected at source and processes amended as required to eliminate rather than correct errors. • Continually develop the usage of financial systems in order to ensure highest levels of management reporting, processing and staffing efficiency and thereby return on investment. Investment Optimizing returns on capital investment. • Utilize project evaluation techniques to assist in directing investment to those projects which optimize returns both for the individual project and the enterprise as a whole. • Prepare annual capital plan and direct implementation of this plan, ensuring funding and necessary buying (e.g. Owners) are in place so that the note can be kept at the highest possible standard. • Prepare and review the AFE, ensuring financial accuracy and sound commercial and business judgment is applied to the process, and that authorization is obtained prior to commitment of the hotel to expenditure. • Perform post investment audit on major capital investments, communicating results of post investment reviews within the Management team and ensures actions are taken to learn from such results and maximize returns. • Ensure compliance with HI capital policy, maintaining proper control and recording of project spends. • Where applicable, prepare review and be involved in the production of financials for new developments and acquisitions. Looking Ahead: Operating against meaningful strategic plans and budgets with accurate forecasting. • Take a support role to the General Manager in hotel strategic planning, with particular emphasis on Master-Planning and “thinking outside the box” to identify value opportunities. • Manage the formulation, review and approval process for budgeting within the hotel. • Ensure a regular cycle of forecasting takes place within the hotel with content and detail appropriate to the needs of the operation. • Provides alerts to Senior Management and to Area Office via regular forecasts, outlook reports or via ad-hoc reporting concerning positive or negative trends in the business. • Work with colleagues and the General Manager to ensure consistency and accuracy of communication regarding future trends in the business. Avoid surprises. Investment in People: Ensuring the best person in each job, in an environment of continuous development. • Recruit and retain the best people for the job, especially at Assistant Controller level, making use of succession planning to develop and replace individuals effectively. • Establish and maintain good employee relations within the Finance department. • Aim to maximize efficiency in the accounting department and optimum staffing levels. • Recognize that a highly organized Accounts office is often a sign of an efficient department. • Develop the effectiveness of the hotel finance function through the ongoing training and development of the team. • Lead and motivate the team to high levels of performance. • Ensure that you manage to specific measurable objectives, giving regular feedback including appraisals. • Both the Director of Finance and Assistant Financial Controller should have a personal development plan. • Provide training to enhance the financial skills of the Management Team as a whole, utilizing tools such as Hilton University and Hilton LEXUE. Cash & Working Capital: Optimize cash position in an environment of tight control • Minimize the level of working capital, with particular emphasis on the management of debtors, stocks and sundry receivables. • Maximize interest earnings and minimize interest expense. • Maintain accurate cash flow forecasts for at least one year ahead, and ensure adequate notice is given to Hilton, and to Owners, of any future cash requirements. • Ensure full reconciliation of all bank accounts on a weekly basis, maintaining the highest standards of control over all cash and bank balances at all times. • The role of the Director of Finance is to establish robust credit control and credit management policies with the General Manager and the Commercial Director within the guidelines set out by Group Policy and following best practice principles – once established, the Director of Business Development applies such policies and controls. • It is the responsibility of the Director of Finance to ensure that controls over accounts receivable are being applied correctly and to take action to rectify any problems identified if they are not. • The Director of Finance must review all accounts receivables with the Commercial Director on a monthly basis and ensure that there are no recoverability issues. • It is the responsibility of the Director of Finance to maintain an appropriate reserve for bad or doubtful debts.     岗位职责: 1.保持食物质量和生产的标准水平。训练,调动和监督厨房员工。在需要时,控制好食物的成本和协调服务的运作。要实现以上事项,厨师长要跟商务项目经理保持非常密切的联系。 2.协助餐饮行政助理经理一起创建一个东南亚菜概念给餐厅。包括了菜单,招牌菜,用餐体验,团队培训等。 3.常常练习质量控制,掌握配方的计算和消耗的减少方式。通过准确的食材申请单来控制食物成本。练习使用人力计划和减少不必要的人手。 4.要与各部门的厨师长保持良好的关系,就必须能够适应改变市场的需要。因此,从参观其他同级别的餐厅和酒店,读取相关的资料(如有),更新食谱,方法,菜式和发展。 5.确保所有员工能完全顺从所有酒店运营检查。管理所有厨房设备,以确保安全,功能上的运作和报道工程上的失误。 6.根据其”品牌”的标准和程序,要协调好涉及到部门的运作部分,去确保服务部呈现到给顾客或者内部顾客超过他们的期望。 7.出席厨师长的会议。如需要,代表部门出席其他会议。 8.酒店运转管理和商务运转管理相协调。提供关于菜单改良,未来食物趋向,市场价格,食物筹备,方法和菜肴的建议。 9.接受行政助理经理-餐饮或者酒店管理部的任何任务或职责。 任职要求: 1.在五星级酒店或者相连的餐厅里有2年以上副厨师长及以上的厨房经验。 2.积极主动,性格乐观开朗,拥有良好的交流沟通能力以及优秀领导力。 3.适应长时间的工作及轮班,熟悉厦门市场和人脉优先。 4.中英文口语流畅。

    岗位职责: 1、全面负责餐饮部各餐厅的日常管理工作(包括宴会用餐、会议用餐服务),确保本部门各项工作的顺利进行,参与餐饮部人员的录用,对酒店餐饮部的管理和餐饮业绩指标负主要责任。 2、负责制定餐饮部年度预算及各项工作计划,通过有效组织实施和严格成本控制,实现预算管理和经营目标。 3、负责制定、更新餐饮部的规章制度和运作流程,检查督导员工严格按照规章制度和运作流程进行工作。 4、负责本部门安全和质检工作,服从上级质检部门的检查和督导,确保餐饮部的菜品质量、服务质量、食品安全、防火安全。 5、全面统筹安排餐饮部的菜品质量、营销、服务水平、质量管理、安全等工作,定期主持本部门例会,听取各分部汇报,督促工作进度,解决工作中的问题;按月进行经营活动分析,研究当月经营情况和预算控制情况,分析原因,提岀措施,改进管理,开拓市场,厉行节约,提高经济效益。 6、审阅每日营业报表,掌握每日预订、货源供应和厨房准备工作情况,了解当日的重要宴请以及来宾的有关情况和特殊要求,认真组织做好一切准备工作。 7、负责餐厅菜品质量提升工作,与行政总厨、各分部大厨、宴会部研究如何提高餐饮部出品质量,积极支持对菜点的研究,不断推陈出新,制定或修订年、季、月、周、日餐牌。 8、负责食品采购成本控制工作,制定并控制食品和饮品的标准、规格和要求,加强食品原料及物品管理,降低费用,增加盈利;跟踪采购部食品原料的进货渠道及价格,并核对进货及库存情况,采取降低成本、减少库存,控制好成本核算,高毛利率。 9、负责食品安全工作和生产安全,抓好卫生工作和安全工作,组织检查个人、环境、操作等方面的卫生评比,贯彻执行食品卫生制度,开展经常性的安全保卫、防火教育,确保餐厅、厨房、库房的安全。 10、负责客户关系管理,建立良好的客户关系,广泛听取和搜集宾客及客户单位意见,认真处理投诉,不断改进工作。 11、负责本部门与酒店其他部门的工作协调,确保销售、对客接待工作的顺利进行。制定餐饮部管理人员的考核标准,认真考核各分部管理人员的日常工作业绩,提高管理效能。 12、负责餐饮部固定资产和物料用品的管理,拟定设备添置、更新和改造计划,不断完善服务项目。 岗位要求: 1、2年以上同岗位或餐饮负责人工作经验。 2、精通本部门的业务知识,熟练掌握中餐、西餐、特色餐、酒吧的技能及管理技巧。 3、熟悉食品原材料采购、储藏和厨房生产、餐厅服务全过程,善于安排各个环节的工作,能保证餐饮管理的协调发展。 4、具有食品原材料加工、餐饮成本核算方面的知识。掌握各种产品配方、各种食品原材料出料率标准,控制产品质量和成本消耗。 5、具有社会活动能力、组织领导工作能力和实际工作能力;善于调动餐饮部各级管理人员的积极性。
