    Overview We are now seeking a dynamic General Manager who can deliver a unique experience for all our guests. We are committed to becoming a preferred employer for our colleagues. To be selected, you will need to have experience of high end hotel or resorts and also have worked in China. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards: Core Responsibilities You will be responsible for all aspects of operations, from overarching hospitality philosophy to day-to-day staff management and guest relations. The job responsibilities can be divided into two timeframes: pre-opening (and launch) and post-opening. During “pre-opening and launch”, the GM will work very closely with naked Hotel Management Company to establish operations and ensure that our vision and brand standards are met. Responsibilities during this phase include but are not limited to the following: ·          Develop naked DNA to work specifically with the new resort. ·          Take a part in the design of the resort’s tours and activities as well as food and beverage offerings. ·          Provide supervision in the procurement of operating supplies and equipment, and contract with third-party vendors for essential services. ·          Participate in hiring individuals across all of the resort’s departments. ·          Participate in training staff to perform according to our naked brand standards. Launch the hotel, including both soft and grand openings, and develop strategies to maximum revenue. After launch, the General Manager will be involved in stabilizing the resort and ensuring that operations run efficiently in addition to maximizing both customer satisfaction and resort profits. Post-opening responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: ·          Lead the resort as its “brand standard bearer”, epitomize the brand personality and work consistently to ensure the resort is run impeccably. ·          Oversee and manage all departments, work closely with department heads on a daily basis. ·          Monitor customer satisfaction through the review of naked scorecard feedback and spend time with the guests and ensuring their needs are being met and expectations exceeded. ·          Maximize room yield and resort revenue through innovative practices and yield management programs. ·          Report to naked Hotel Management Company on a regular basis. ·          Establish annual/quarterly budgets and revenue projections with regular updating. ·          Ensure costs are controlled and revenue opportunities are effectively sourced and delivered. ·          Address any problems or complaints with a speedy and satisfactory resolution. ·          Counsel and advise employees to ensure successful career progression within naked. Requirements ·          The ideal candidate will most likely already be a General Manager or Resident/Hotel Manager/EAM. ·          The candidate will have well-rounded hotel operations experience and will be able to drive yield, excellence in service standards, and profitability. ·          Candidates with previous resort pre-opening experience in China is preferred. ·          A people person, outgoing with great communication skills and the ability to relate to guests and staff alike. ·          Able to train, guide and mentor a large team. ·          Previous experience operating resort properties with marina facilities would be an advantage. ·          Ability to develop innovative on property strategies focused on revenue generation in conjunction with the nHMC Sales and Marketing & Innovation Department. ·          Superb financial and commercial acumen is a must as setting the annual budget and then delivering on the targets of the property is a major responsibility. ·          Strong operational background with a hands-on attitude to daily operations and exceeding guest’s expectations as a key focus. ·          A deep understanding of promotions and marketing as well as managing and leading the sales initiatives. ·          Ability to manage the hotel’s finances through the planning and controlling of revenue streams, cash flow and property expenses. ·          Highly developed interpersonal skills and as an ideal candidate, you will be equally adept at dealing with hotel owners, peers, and employees at all levels. ·          To effectively manage the owner relationship on behalf of the company. ·          To ensure that the operational and service skills of the employees of the hotel are being constantly improved through well planned Training systems. ·          As the General Manager of this pre-opening property, you will drive the recruitment and development of the entire staff.

As Director of People & Culture you will be responsible for the following duties: The Director of People & Culture is responsible for the overall daily P&C operation including People & Culture and Learning & Development of the Hotel. Research, identify and propose appropriate Human Resources strategies to ensure the effectiveness of the Hotel. Keep updated with the latest trends in the field of applied human resource activities, legal updates and world-wide HR trends.  Advice and co-ordinate with management to ensure Hotel’s productivity and service standards are met in its highest level. Identify and design appropriate training and development initiatives to ensure a learning culture is developed within the Hotel. Ensure the compliance with all relevant hotel policies and procedures, local and government regulations pertaining to employment practices. Ensure proper administration of the Performance Management System in all departments and achieve a performance driven team. Define, establish and maintain proper communication channels so that an open, transparent organization can be created. Maintain harmonious employee relations and an environment conductive to top performance. Develop man power budget and ensure manpower is under control within the manning established. Responsible for recruitment of all level of positions. Recommend, propose and implement strategies to ensure retention of high performers.  Provide reports on recruitment advertisements cost effectiveness. Ensure all recruitment costs are within budget. Select recruitment agencies / head hunters and makes recommendations to management. Ensure all learning& development programs and initiatives are to maximize customer satisfaction, employee motivation and organizational profitability. Conduct Performance Management system training to new executives and department heads.  Ensure the selection and training of trainees is monitored and effective. Ensure the career development plans and succession planning of subordinates within HR Department. Personally coach executives and department heads in personnel management and training skills. Oversee training conducted by Learning & Development Department and departmental trainers are effective. Analyze training needs and ensure the preparation and implementation of training plans are designed to meet hotel’s needs. Ensure all new colleagues are equipped with hotel and product knowledge. Ensure career development policies and implements career paths for colleagues. Conduct exit interviews for Department Head level.  Attend to any labor  related legal cases. Implement, communicate and clarify any Human Resources related policies and rules and propose modifications to remain current with needs and trends. Develop and maintain hotel disciplinary system, conduct disciplinary meetings for supervisory staff and above. Perform related duties and special projects as assigned by the Management.  As Director of People & Culture, we expect from you:  Bachelor and above in Hotel Management / Human Resources Management / Psychology Certificate in law is desirable Certified trainer in management programs At least 8-10 years in Human Resources in service industry, preferably in international 5-star hotel Experience in handling labor union Thorough knowledge of modern Human Resources tools and techniques Excellent communication Ability to manage and motivate a large diverse group of colleagues Ability to act as change agent, result driven Strong analytical skills and negotiation skills Well verse in PRC labor laws Computer literate in basic MS office software Fluent in English and Mandarin Our commitment to you Learning & Development.     SCOPE The overall scope of this role is to safeguard the hotel assets and financial resources and ensure that these are utilized to maximize operating results. OVERALL OBJECTIVES To provide timely and accurate information and work together with the executive team in order for the hotel to run profitably and within the legal and corporate guidelines to maximize the use of the resources available and maintain a control over revenues and costs and help ensure that the hotel objectives are met.  The job of Director of Finance is executed satisfactorily when: All local and corporate guidelines and deadlines are met. High forecast accuracy is achieved consistently. Senior Management is provided with timely and accurate financial information. Hotel fully operates under the terms of the Management Agreement. Insurances are up to date and in compliance with local and corporate regulations. At Kempinski, Talent Development is a management responsibility and consequently an integral and important part of our Managers’ daily activities.    The Director of Finance fulfils their role as a Talent Development Ambassador when: They actively support and implement Talent Development initiatives as a part of their daily activities. They identify Training talents in their department and throughout the hotels as per below definition and actively support their career development. They support and initiate transfer, cross exposure and task force assignments for their team. They personally conduct TTTTs with their team on a regular basis and take personal interest for their talents’ development plans. They recruit and select potential talent according to the Company’s current and future hotel, regional and worldwide needs including conducting interviews for positions in their department and their region. MAINRESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for following and understanding all Kempinski Policies & Procedures.  Responsible for behaving in a professional and harmonious manner and following the Kempinski code of conduct. Responsible for understanding and following the terms of the Management Agreement.  Responsible for supporting, mentoring and developing the finance staff.  Responsible for supporting and encouraging training of all staff in financial matters . Responsible for developing the annual business plan together with the General Manager and Executive Committee.  Responsible for conducting monthly P&L meetings.  Responsible for monitoring and controlling all revenues and expenses and making the corresponding recommendations when needed.  Responsible for reviewing the cash position of the hotel in order to optimize the use of funds.  Responsible for preparing and submitting the quarterly self assessment report.  Responsible for preparing and submitting an accurate monthly forecast. Responsible for reviewing and signing the Balance Sheet reconciliations monthly.  Responsible for ensuring the preparation of the accurate and timely monthly financial report. Responsible for being the contact for the auditors and act upon recommendations in the audit report.  Responsible for continuously searching for new business opportunities to benefit the hotel.  Responsible for the control environment within the hotel.  Responsible for keeping and safeguarding all contracts, lease agreements, licenses, insurance policies and all legal and financial documents.  Responsible for maintaining good relationships with the hotel owners/representatives as well as external partners.  Responsible for communicating with the General Manager on any discrepancies or other potential problems. Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel.
