Offer advice on food/restaurants, shopping, and activities during free time Shore Excursion •Coordination of all excursions including audio equipment •Liaising with local suppliers (reconfirmation of reservations, busses, guides…) •Instructing and briefing local guides prior to shore-excursion •Accompanying of all excursions and walks (with or without local guides) •Controlling and monitoring of implementation and quality of the excursions

    Professional, welcoming and sales oriented F&B service. Assigned areas of responsibilities in any F&B outlet according to direction from management. Responsible of serving food and beverage efficiently and in a courteous manner. Maintaining excellent grooming standards at all times following Viking Ocean guidelines. Learns and uses appropriate food and wine terminology and pronunciation to enhance the guest's dining experience. Becomes familiar with menu descriptions and wine lists in order to discuss items appropriately with guests. Fully knowledgeable of Vikings food & beverage offerings. Presents both food and beverage menus to guests, suggests dinner courses, appropriate wines and answers questions regarding menu and wine selections. Relays order using MXP ordering software to galley as required and serves courses from galley and beverages from various locations following company safe alcohol serving policies. Taking care of restaurant reservation when instructed. Cleaning and polishing equipment, glassware and flatware Responsible to follow direction from Managers, Supervisor and maintaining all Viking Ocean Standards. Establishing effective employee relations and maintain the highest level of professionalism, ethics, and positive attitude towards all guest and employees Prepare and performs all F&B activities (i.e. cocktail parties, Tea Time, Café Lunch) and special events as assigned. Tallying any sales transactions and correctly follow any accounting procedures. Cleaning of working areas in accordance with PH and company rules and standards. Separation and disposal of waste / garbage Conducting stock takes and inventory according to company procedures. Assistance in other departments upon instruction from supervisors as required. Following all applicable company standards and PH rules. Keeping and storing of any assigned inventory stock in accordance with set par-levels following safety and sanitation rules and regulations. Active participation in onboard training programs. Embarkation duty as directed, including luggage assistance, guest escorting and any other related duty. Participation in loading as required and on direction of supervisors. Additional duties, not mentioned here, will be expected as per management request.
