· Co-ordinate daily operations of the banquet floor to maximize profit and guest satisfaction.

· Ensure the collection of all payments from all banquet functions, by following the standard payment processing procedures established by the hotel.

· Up-sell banquet items such as menu/ beverage options to maximize revenue.
鼓励员工推销宴会厅菜单/酒单上的产品从而实现利润最大化。
· Control and secure department inventory.
监控并保证部门库存安全。
· Monitor costing of banquet supplies, labour, food and beverage.
监督宴会的供应、劳动力和食物酒水的成本。
· Minimize cost wherever possible without compromising on quality.
在保证质量的同时尽量使成本最小化。
· Ensure accuracy of Banquet invoices and that additional services and products rendered are charged accordingly.
确保宴会发票的准确性;提供附加服务和产品相应地收取的费用。
· Review Engagement and Pulse Reports and form action plans to address issues reflected in the staff survey.
浏览员工满意度报告并制定行动计划,以解决反映在员工调查的中的问题。
· Complete annual and mid year performance reviews for staff accordingly.
完成年度和半年度员工绩效评估。
· Seek further clarification from the Banquet Manager should discrepancies arise.
如有差异产生及时向宴会厅经理进一步说明情况
· Hold daily operation briefings to ensure smooth workflow and explain to staff regarding their assigned tasks and expected outcome.
主持日常运营例会从而确保工作顺利开展并向员工解释他们的计划任务和预期结果
· Assign tasks and duties to all staff, with regards to set up, service and closing procedures.
向所有员工委派相关开档、服务和收档的任务和职责
· Ensure all staff are utilized to their fullest potential and that all works assigned are completed in a satisfactory manner

· Check that all employees report to work at scheduled time and are in proper uniform, abiding to the hotel’s grooming standards. Take disciplinary actions when appropriate.

· Achieve high standards of service and satisfaction by closely controlling quality and monitoring consistency of the assigned tasks completed by staff
通过严格监控员工的服务质量和完成任务的一致性确保达到高标准的服务和宾客满意度
· Keep track of any hours worked overtime
记录所有工作时间包括加班时间
· Approve time off during slow business period without affecting normal business operations
在不影响商务运营的前提下批准在非高峰时间的员工休假
· Ensure inventory is maintained in clean and good condition and is properly stored at all times

· Ensure sufficient and proper inventory for upcoming banquets and events; Purchase additional items as needed while abiding to hotels requisition policy

· Inspect the quality and set up of additional services requested by client
检查按宾客要求所提供的特殊服务的布置及其质量
· Ensure additional services are set up according to clients’ specifications prior to the start of the event

· Pay close attention to products and services provided by other departments or third party companies

· Report any discrepancies or subpar quality to F&B Director

· Coordinate with the Housekeeping Department to arrange regular and Spring cleaning of banquet areas

· Communicate with the flower shop to ensure that all floral arrangement deliveries are according to clients’ specifications, presentable and of good quality. Rectify any discrepancies immediately.
和花房沟通从而确保花卉布置符合客户要求,摆放到位,外形美观且质量良好。如有差异及时修整
· Communicate with the Banquet office, Beverage department, kitchen and stewards to ensure clarity of information relayed

· Pay particular attention to all last minute requests and assure that they are accommodated
特别注意宾客的紧急要求并确保其要求得到满足
· Attend all Banquet Department Meetings, F&B weekly department meetings and daily morning briefings

· Lead and direct all staff in a positive manner so as to create a desirable work environment

· Motivate all personnel to ensure that all staff carry out their duties to the best of their ability

· Train and guide banquet staff on service skills and Standard Operating Procedures

· Conduct monthly communication meetings with staff and Banquet Sales Manager

· Submit minutes of monthly communication meetings to the F&B Director. Minutes should include the objective and summary of the meeting as well as specific concerns raised during the meetings
向餐饮总监提交每月沟通例会记录。记录内容包括会议目的、会议总结以及会议中的特殊事项
· Communicate with the kitchen and executive chef, with regards to the set up requirements of all Buffets, and service of all western and Chinese banquets
与厨房和主厨就自助餐布局和所有中西餐宴会服务及时正确沟通
· Ensure appropriate service equipment is in stock

· Pass on any changes in details of function such as timing, number of attendees or any other last minute requests to the kitchen and other related departments

· Greet function organizers or/and Host of the Function on arrival, introduce yourself as the point of contact for their event; discuss such matters as final objectives, timing, and seeing to any special requests or changes that may occur.
宴会组织者/宴会主持到达会场时,问候并向其介绍自己为会场联系人;与其沟通定夺宴会时间、最终目标等细节,并留意会出现的任何特殊需求或突发变化。
· Go over any special requests with function organizers or/and Host of the Function to make sure all requests are understood and accommodated.

· Obtain a copy of the Banquet Function/Event Order and to be familiarized with the clients’ specifications.

· Resolve and follow up with any guest-related issues arise during functions and events. Rectify in a professional and satisfactory manner while abiding to hotel’s policies.
解决并跟进所有在活动或宴会中发生的与宾客相关的纠纷。在遵循酒店政策的前提下以专业的态度完满解决纷争。
· Inspect banquet rooms, quality of food and beverage and final set up ensuring everything is in presentable and working order.
检查宴会室,宴会食物酒水质量和最终布局从而确保所有食物外观优雅,所有设备工作井然有序。
· Inspect the banquet area on a daily basis ensuring cleanliness and that all lights and electrical equipment are in good working order. Report any area that needs attention to the Housekeeping Department/ Engineering Department.
进行宴会区域日常巡视检查从而确保干净整洁,所有电灯和电器设备保持良好工作状态。向客房部或工程部及时报告任何需要注意的区域。
· Check all Banquet areas for potential safety hazards, such as damaged chairs, tables and tripping hazards. Remove the hazard immediately, if possible and report to the appropriate department.
检查所有宴会区域以确保无潜在安全隐患,如被损坏的桌椅和绊倒危险。如有条件,及时移除隐患设备并报告给相关部门。
· Ensure cleanliness of all function rooms and restroom facilities, before and after each function. Report any area that needs attention to the Housekeeping Department/Engineering Department.
确保所有功能厅和休息室设备在会议开始前和结束后保持整洁干净, 向客房部和工程部及时报告需要特别注意的宴会区域。
· Ensure that all guest comments are brought to the attention of the Conference and Banquet Manager.

· Check that all signboards are accurate and that all signage is correctly placed.
确保所有布告板和引导标示正确并摆放正确。
· Supervise the service of all functions to ensure the highest level of service and quality are achieved

· Ensure safe handling, use and storage of all equipment by training staff on proper handling procedure. Report all breakage to the Chief Steward.

· Ensure all store rooms and linen rooms are in a neat and clean manner at all times.
