Position Overview:
As a Director of Sales for IT hospitality solutions,he oversees the sales strategy and execution for technology products tailored to the hospitality industry. This role involves developing sales plans, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth for the company.The Director of Sales is responsible for aligning sales goals with overall business objectives and tracking performance within the assigned territory. Your confident familiarity with terms like API, AWS, and cloud is essential to succeed in this role.
What You Will Do
Enablement
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies
plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market presence in the MIDDLE EAST
hospitality and F&B industry.
Identify and prioritize key accounts and prospects
within the territory, conducting thorough research to understand their
business needs and challenges.
Track sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and
revenue forecasts, providing regular updates and reports to senior
management.
Build and maintain strong relationships with
prospective and existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and
consultant on IT solutions tailored to their specific requirements.
Lead the end-to-end sales process, from initial
prospecting and lead generation to negotiation, contract closure, and
post-sale follow-up. Update CRM time to time for updates.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams,
including pre-sales, marketing, operation support, to ensure alignment of
sales efforts with company objectives and customer needs.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations,
proposals, and demonstrations to prospects, effectively communicating the
value proposition and benefits of our IT solutions, leveraging your
exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Utilize your deep understanding of hotel operations to
demonstrate how our solutions can streamline front office processes and
elevate guest satisfaction.
Sales & Market Research
Evaluate and validate potential and existing partners, incl.qualifying leads (partnering with Marketing in key initiatives for leadgeneration and materials).
Accelerating the sales process by identifying solutions tocustomer pain points.
If needed, in preparation with/for the sales team,communicate with project management to translate clients’ requirements and smooth transition from sales to implementation.
Review new marketing documents for accurate promotion of theproduct.
Strategy & Innovation
Maintain thorough knowledge on international hospitality industry trends and developments. Functioning as an ambassador of innovationfor the product and company, introducing new industry trends and developments.
Documentation & Controlling
Manage and control proposal/deal qualification, includingquote verification.
Keeping product documentation up to date, highlighting the aim and purpose of the product.
Product
Update yourself on the new product enhancements, integration projects, RFI’s and RFP’s.
Providing product knowledge support, translating the technical aspects of the product to the product and pre-sales team and client,being the intermediary between product management and client.
Additionally
Coalize with Marketing department to discuss sales expectations, help highlight product USP’s, introducing innovative approacheson representation of the company/products, evaluate the methodologies and strategies applied to reach the relevant markets and clients.
Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business,
Information Technology, or a related field.
7 to 10 years of experience in a senior sales
role in hotel IT solutions, preferably focusing on hospitality and F&B
vertical.
Strong grasp of property management systems and revenue
management strategies etc.
Comfortable discussing and explaining technology
concepts such as APIs, AWS, cloud solutions, and AI to both technical and
non-technical audiences.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for data analysis
and reporting purposes.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills to
effectively convey complex information.
Analytical mindset with the ability to address
operational challenges with creative solutions.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and an aptitude
for working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Certifications or additional training in hotel
technology and operations are a plus.
A high degree of autonomy and self-motivation.
Highly structured, outgoing and social person, ready to
communicate with employees, customers and partners across different
countries and different organizational levels.
Excellent
written and verbal communication skills (Arabic & English). Any other
language will be an advantage.
