The Director of RevenueManagement will provide the hotel’s Executive Team guidance in developinglong-term strategies and short-term tactics to increase the hotel’s overallrevenues and to maximize profit.
Toassist the Director of Marketing / Sales and the management team to have astructured approach to tactical marketing making use of all internal andexternal tools available to the hotel and providing standard analyticalreporting to ensure the adopted tactics are measurable.
Toundertake in depth business analysis, primarily of the Rooms department butalso other revenue generating departments including Food & Beverage andSpa, making recommendations on promotional tactics in liaison with the Directorof Marketing / Sales and the respective Outlet Manager / Director.
Ensure the guidelines for data collection, datainput, data cleaning and data usage are being followed throughout the hotel andconduct regular training to the relevant departments.
To conduct regular training to Front Office, Salesand Marketing, Reservations on the definition of the marketing standard codesi.e. Purpose of Visit, Rate Markets / Segmentation etc. and their importance inmarketing analysis.
To assist theDirector of Marketing / Sales in the strategic direction of the Sales Team byassisting the Sales Managers with their Personal Business Plans, corporateaccount classification (key account management) as well as ensuring monthlyreporting needs are met.
To work in close collaboration with the MarketingCommunication Manager to ensure the chosen marketing communications areconsistent with the hotel’s targeted customer’s profile, preferences, andbehaviors.
To offer quantitative information to Marketing Communicationsregarding the targeted market’s size, yield, booking, past promotion results,etc., for planning and ROI calculation.
To analyze the current revenue generation trends ofthe hotel in order to identify critical areas for Revenue Enhancement.
To assist the HotelExecutive Team in developing integrated solutions that enables the hotel toleverage increased profitability via Business Intelligence and RevenueManagement practices, focusing on revenue engineering primarily for the Roomsdepartment but also other profit centres of the hotel such as F&B or Spa.
